An experimental short film that tells the story of a lonely traveler struggling to survive. His journey is based on Joseph Campbell’s The Hero’s Journey—the archetypal journey of the hero in myth and story.
These archetypal elements appear in many films, books and series, as well as in our own lives. Campbell offers inspiration, life lessons, and insights into values from myths, religions, and cultures around the world. The visual style is inspired by the French comic ‘Le rapport de Brodeck’ by Phillipe Claudel, famous for his black and white art. It is a style that brings the earthly and mythological elements of The Hero’s Journey to life.
