During crises such as MH17 and COVID-19, special units are deployed on a large scale within the police to coordinate. An SGBO, also known as Staff Large-Scale and Special Performance, supports this. At the time of the pandemic, an SGBO PDC business was established for the first time. The reason for this was to support the entire police organization during these extremely volatile and ever-changing circumstances. The SGBO operational management team was therefore ready day and night, seven days per week, with the aim of allowing officers on the streets to do their jobs properly.

However, who were the people who participated within this SGBO? What is their story? How did they experience participating in SGBO business management?

Commissioned by the Police Services Center, Bleck’s production team searched for the story behind the SGBO. Together, they made an internal documentary in which various perspectives are shown from during the pandemic—an interesting, but especially intense period in which man and power worked 24/7 to allow the police organization, but especially the officer on the street, to carry out their work.
