An abandoned bus. A hostage situation. A confused man with a knife threatening fellow passengers. The police intervene. When the man tries to cut himself, the agents have to react in a split second. However, which weapon will they use? Pepper spray is not sufficient, and a gun can cause serious damage. Thus, in February 2017, the police started a trial for electroshock weapons named tasers.

The Taser X2 model, a double-shot electroshock weapon, is used by arrest teams before using guns. As part of the press package for the introduction of the taser in the Netherlands, Bleck developed an informative film to provide insights into the often difficult choices that an agent must make on a daily basis. Director Erwin van den Eshof, alongside Bleck’s creative team, devised a gripping storyline for the film. He made the choice for action combined with a realistic perspective from an agent. In this way, we literally take the viewer inside the agent’s head. The content was then used as a press kit by the national news stations.
